`Excursion to Warehouse (FCI) and
Life Insurance Corporation
(Max-Newyork)

The students of class XI visited the FCI and Life Insurance Corporation. They gained a lot of information about the working of the institutions. They enriched their knowledge about the functioning, as well as the problems being faced by the workers. They became aware of the ways in which the work is carried out there, right from the maintenance of stocks, checking quality of grains, measuring moisture level etc. at Food Corporation of India (FCI) to clarifying their doubts about the insurance companies from the point of view of a consumer and also from the viewpoint of the insurance agent. The journey was an enlightening one, the students returned back enriched with lots of valuable information.

• Firstly the weight of empty truck is measured, then after loading the food grains the weight of truck is measured again.
• Difference between two will give the actual weight of food grains.
