PROJECT SAPTAK- AN ENDEAVOUR TO EXPOSE STUDENTS TO THE VAST WORLD OF BIODIVERSITY
It was a pleasant day with overcast monsoon sky and soft soothing breeze. Just the perfect setting for exposing the students to the vast and varied world of biodiversity. Project Saptak provided an excellent opportunity to explore the rich world of plant and animal life. The children have been working ceaselessly for the last many weeks to search, to investigate, to experiment and finally to give shape to their findings in the form of PPT Presentations. On the day of the final presentation, they all had come equipped and manifested great acumens in expressing themselves. They manifested brilliant reasoning and technical skills, not to mention the outstanding communication skills, to unfathom and reveal various aspects of biodiversity. After the initial rounds held in the previous weeks, a total of 16 teams, 8 each from the Junior ( classes 6 to 8) and the Senior (classes 9 to 12) were selected to give the presentations before an esteemed panel of judges comprising Dr. M.L.
