Takshila Mind Space - Inter-School Mental Health Summit, 2026

The Takshila ‘Mind Space’ Inter-School Mental Health Summit 2026 was hosted by Delhi Public School Ludhiana on 13 August 2026, with the vision of promoting awareness, empathy and meaningful conversations around mental well-being among young learners. The summit brought together 13 schools, creating a vibrant platform for diverse perspectives, creativity and thoughtful expression. The day featured eight engaging events, including model making, art, poetry, empathy dialogues, research presentations, collage making, Nukkad Natak and a mental-health quiz, enabling students to explore themes such as emotional acceptance, resilience, self-worth, social-media influence and the importance of seeking support. A distinguished panel of judges from the fields of psychology, education, fine arts, literature and emotional wellness evaluated the participants on creativity, originality, research, communication, empathy and emotional depth.

Students displayed remarkable confidence, sensitivity and maturity while addressing complex emotional issues through artistic and intellectual expression. The Valedictory and Award Ceremony celebrated their achievements and reinforced the summit’s larger message—to speak without fear, listen without judgement and understand without prejudice. The event proved to be much more than a competition; it became a meaningful celebration of empathy, awareness, creativity and the courage to look within, providing young minds with a safe and inspiring space for conversations on mental well-being.
