The farewell assembly for the outgoing Class XII batch of 2025–26, held on February 06, 2026, at Delhi Public School was a poignant blend of nostalgia, celebration, and heartfelt gratitude. On a pleasant February morning, the OAT was thoughtfully adorned to symbolise transformation, portraying the journey of a caterpillar evolving into a butterfly—an apt metaphor for the students’ growth into confident young adults. Pathways were embellished with vibrant hangings illustrating meaningful adjectives and the eight stages of human development, reflecting their progression. The ceremony commenced with Class VI students escorting the outgoing batch, a gesture of admiration and continuity. Elegantly dressed in suits of varied hues, the graduates exuded poise and maturity. The solemn recitation of the Shalok and prayer set a reflective tone, followed by nostalgic reminiscences by Ms. Rajneesh Kaur Dhillon, who fondly recalled their early innocence and milestones.

Class teachers Ms. Tamanna Jain and Mr. Bikrampreet Singh expressed pride and encouragement, wishing them courage and integrity. A soulful musical enactment revisited cherished memories—100 Days in School, Bal Sangam, Khoj, annual functions, board exams, and the transformative INME Camp—evoking deep emotion. Principal Mr. Jaya Prakash delivered an inspiring address, urging students to uphold empathy, humility, and resilience, reminding them that true success lies in uplifting others. Student speakers, including the Head Boy and Head Girl, shared gratitude and aspirations, while a spirited Bhangra performance infused celebratory energy. The presentation of mementos marked an emotional crescendo, symbolising enduring bonds and shared memories. Concluding with a gracious Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, the assembly stood as a dignified tribute to a journey completed and a promising future awaiting the Class XII batch.
